Regular Sunday Church Services - 10.30am
Celebration of Holy Communion usually during service on  2nd Sunday  of the month from 10th January 2021.
We would love you to stay for tea/coffee after Sunday morning services so that we can chat and start to get to know you.

Monthly Midweek "Sandwich Service" - 12pm - 1st Thursday of month
This is a short service followed by a light sandwich lunch when we can enjoy each other’s company and catch up on our news. We are a community who value laughter and look for joy in our faith.

Other Special Services - including Christmas, Lent, Easter, Pentecost and Harvest as well as services periodically which connect with our Faith in Action programme.

We believe the words used by Jesus and recorded in the Bible remain relevant in our lives today.

About Church Services - a little about what to expect:

Our Sunday service usually lasts for about an hour and although traditional in format are modern in content. We use hymns and prayers that are relevant to our modern-day context. In the absence of a Minister either the Worship Group or other preachers will lead the service.

Children are welcome to stay in Church during services, please feel free to use the toys at the back of the Church. Somebody will be on hand to make you feel welcome. Children have the opportunity to leave after the first part of our service when they can join in fun activities with our "Little Kingfishers". A DBS checked carer will be with them but parents are welcome to join their children if they feel more comfortable doing so. The children re-join the service at the end when we all join in the final Blessing.

We believe the words used by Jesus and recorded in the Bible remain relevant in our lives today.
We also have a more informal lunchtime "Sandwich Service" on the 1st Thursday of the month from 12pm. This takes the form of a short service which uses reflections and more traditional hymns. It is followed by a free light sandwich lunch.
Holy Communion is usually celebrated on the 1st Sunday of the month. We have an Open Table which means everyone, regardless of age or circumstances, is welcome to share the bread and wine. During Holy Communion the congregation remain seated and are served the bread and wine by a church elder. The bread will be offered first which we take and hold until we are invited to eat together by the minster. This is followed by the wine which is served in individual small glasses. As with the bread, we hold the glass until all are served and then we drink the wine together. If you prefer not to take Communion, that is fine, just indicate with a nod of the head to the elder.

Greatest Commandment

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
Love your neighbour as yourself.
There is no commandment greater than these.

Mark 12: 29-31
